The Volar Carbon is our ultimate user-friendly board for progressing, learning and having fun at all levels. The board is fast, stable and accelerates in every gust of wind.
On a straight line or jibe, the Volar Carbone rides naturally, giving the rider confidence in order to improve his level in each maneuver. With its slimmer profile on the water or in the air, the new Volar is glued to your feet.
Each size has been individually created to suit specific conditions, giving larger volumes a proportionately wider and longer outline, with more balance and the early planning needed for light winds. The smaller sizes have a smoother bottom curve for more control in tougher conditions.
You can also change the character of these boards by simply adjusting the straps, using either the configuration of a centered strap or two eccentric straps at the rear, or its three rows in internal or external configuration.
By distributing the volume more towards the rear, by reducing the total length, by keeping the rails more parallel and more towards the rear and above all by modifying the rocker and the flat area, this helps to improve the planning departure, the control and speed of the board.
Adjustments were made to find the magic combination of these changes and resulted in a range that the whole team is very proud of! It's easier to stand up on the new Volar Carbon when you're not hovering, start faster as well as maintain control, respond to the rider's commands and progress as quickly as possible.
The boards take off at the slightest gust and cross the slack winds at full speed. The entire hull sits just on the surface of the water, and from the footstraps you can maintain total control and perfect longitudinal balance. The speed of entry and exit into the jibe has also improved significantly, providing a lot of fun while riding these boards or racing with your friends.
These new shapes increase the range of use and responsiveness. Inspired by the success of the Proton Pro, we were able to achieve our objectives by distributing the volume more towards the rear, reducing the overall length, keeping the rails more parallel, further back and above all, by modifying the rocker and the flat zone to adjust the start to the planning and overall control of the board.
