KT FOILING Solus Front Wing
Description
Solus Front Wing — Ultra High Modulus Carbon
Designed by Kane de Wilde, the Solus is KT Foiling's ultra high modulus carbon front wing built for downwind fun, downwind racing, wing foiling, surf foiling, foil assist, and light wind conditions.
Design Philosophy
The Solus balances glide and acceleration — delivering race speed and stability in a more usable, fun, and versatile package. A consistent 14 aspect ratio geometry across all sizes combines a thicker, reflexed center section with thinner, higher-camber tips for stability and confident handling.
Key Characteristics
- Feeling: Slippery, fast, and highly efficient — immediate acceleration when pumping
- Speed: Runs noticeably quicker than comparable foils; calm and predictable at pace
- Agility: Rolls smoothly between rails, responds cleanly to pressure, carves with confidence
- Construction: Ultra High Modulus Carbon for maximum rigidity and minimal weight
