Front Wing Aero Carve 2.0 SLS
Description
Building on the success of our latest range of Carve wings, the aim of Carve 2.0 is to make these mid aspect ratio wings even more efficient.
Our team riders wanted wings with more glide, speed, reduced drag and improved handling while retaining the hallmark of Aero Carve: control at high speeds.
We decided to start from scratch and changed almost every design parameter: new profiles, new outline, new curvature, higher aspect ratio, and new twist along the wing. Each wing size has been independently designed to best match the intended range of use.
For example, the largest wing (1430) has the smallest aspect ratio and thinnest profile, to maximize maneuverability and reduce drag. In contrast, the 850 has the greatest aspect ratio and the thickest profile, to improve lift and delay stall on such a small wing.
The Carve 2.0 are ideal for tackling established waves. What they sacrifice in terms of glide compared to the Free or Glide, they compensate for with greater speed and greater maneuverability when surfing.
The Carve 2.0 are also the favorite wings of our team riders who participate in the World Tour in Freestyle. They allow them to charge their jumps with more speed, which results in a more explosive pop. The medium aspect ratio also means that hard landings are much less stressful on the rest of the equipment.
With their moderate ration aspect, the Carve 2.0 are also excellent Kite Foil wings. Thanks to this moderate aspect ratio, riders can lean on the mast more aggressively without the wing tips coming out of the water.
If you are an intermediate or advanced kite looking for a kite that can do everything from Wing Foil in big waves to high speed Kite Foil runs, the Carve 2.0 is the one for you!
