We are happy to reintroduce the Eclipse Pro, one of our favorite sails. A concept that we had to abandon in favor of four and three batten sails. Five-strut wave sails are now making a comeback thanks to the lighter materials and construction concepts that have developed over the past decade.

Marcilio Browne encouraged the development of this five-batten sail to provide more stability thanks to an additional batten at the head of the sail. The Eclipse Pro is a Variowave concept that covers a wide range of conditions, from light winds – thanks to its light weight – to very strong storm conditions – thanks to the ease of control of the sail.

In addition to the Banzai Pro 4 battens, the Eclipse Pro 5 battens is an excellent option when you are sailing in a spot where the wind is extremely irregular but you still want to keep a powerful sail.

Larger riders benefit from the five battens with sails of 5.0 square meters or more.
