KAWA - Takeoff

Resulting from a collaborative project between the Kawa Boards workshop and Boutique 30 Noeuds, the Décollage is a wing board specialized in light-wind performance for the conditions found on Quebec lakes.

Its shape, inspired by downwind SUP boards, is a perfect blend of acceleration and stability. Its clean lines maximize water flow, reducing friction. Its rail positioning for the foil mast connection is more advanced compared to traditional wing boards. This allows for greater pumping capacity as well as much better maneuverability once the board is in the air.

The goal of this creation is to let our customers maximize their time riding the FOIL, not the BOARD! It has never been easier to take off below 10 knots.


The smallest model (6'2" x 20", 94 liters) is aimed at advanced and/or lightweight riders wanting to maximize the maneuverability of a light-wind board.
