The Mini feels extremely direct and reactive, with minimal swing weight and hyper rigidity for a light, controlled connection to the foil. It’s stable and balanced for towing up, forgiving on touchdowns, then instantly responsive rail to rail once flying.
The thinner standing area and refined tail reduce unwanted rail catches through turns, unlocking more control through carves at high and low speeds. The subtle aero nose volume helps the board rise to the surface for easier starts and cleaner recoveries through surface contact, chop or bumpy water.
Speed.
Instant release and quick acceleration with minimal drag. The Mini is built to tow up efficiently from deep water sink starts and redirect predictably on traditional wake starts. It stays light once flying so you can carry speed through turns and flat spots. Compact length, fast release, and tail clearance help it skip off the water instead of sticking, making surface contact less punishing at speed and more predictable on jumps and rebounds.
Description.
The Drifter Mini is built for riders who value response and control across tow, wake, kite, waves, and hyper direct pumping. The compact outline makes everything controlled yet reactive.
Precise volume placement stays forgiving when learning sink starts or dialing wake starts, then rewards advanced riders with plenty of pop, controlled landings, and the ability to carve harder without catching a rail or the tail.
Built for real boat life, this new carbon construction keeps the Drifter Mini stiff, light, and durable session after session.
Shape.
Compact surf and wake outline with a refined, reduced tail area to minimize rail engagement through turns and takeoff. A skatey concave deck improves sensitivity to the foil and helps the board feel locked in underfoot once flying. A refined aero nose and new volume distribution support upward lift during deep water sink starts, cleaner planing during wake starts, and more predictable handling through touchdowns and messy water.
Agility.
Hyper agility by design. The short outline and low swing weight make the Mini ridiculously easy to redirect, pump, and throw around in tight wake turns, hard slashes, and down the line surf, while staying composed and even footed at any speed.
Construction.
Carbon construction. Reinforced nose patches add durability for tow, wake, and dockstart use, where boards take more impacts and repeated use.
• Our most advanced full core layup for strength, stiffness, and lightweight performance.
• Full biaxial and UD carbon reinforced with S-glass for maximum stiffness and impact resistance.
• Reinforced structure for improved response, feel, and long-term durability.
• Integrated fiberglass windows tuned to 2.4GHz for Foil Assist connectivity.
Pads & Straps.
• Refined lightweight slotted traction
• Maximum grip with reduced weight
• Reduced thickness for improved board feel, pumping efficiency, and control
Includes Adjustable MFC front and rear internally adjustable foot straps with hardware.
• Surf-style insert pattern with slight offset options for centered, balanced directional riding, reducing heel side bias and keeping you aligned over the foil.
Track Boxes.
New 11” Universal Track System.
• Reversed mount for more range
• In house designed 11-inch reinforced foil specific track boxes
• Puncture resistant elevated channels for durability and compatibility across mast lengths, varying hardware types, lengths, and mounting positions
Size Guide.
12 Liters, 3’10” x 17″
Most compact and lightweight performance shape for tow, wake, pump foiling, and dock starts.
• Lowest swing weight for the most lightweight responsive feel and pump.
• Ideal for experienced kite foilers, tow and wake riders who want the board to disappear once flying
• Stiff and efficient for dock starts and flatwater pump sessions
• Minimal rocker for an even footed pump
• Smallest and lowest volume Drifter for easy sinking and lighter or advanced riders.
15 Liters, 4’0″ x 17.25″
Balanced all-around performance for tow, wake, and a snow skate feel in waves. Easy to sink with more forgiveness with starts and surface contact.
• Sinks easily for deep water starts, with added buoyancy to set feet and get to the surface
• Best all-around option for kite foiling, tow, wake, dock starts, and flatwater pumping
• Ideal balance between minimal swing weight, rocker, and predictable recovery at speed
20 L, 4’2″ x 17.3″
The most forgiving compact performance for beginner to intermediate tow, wake, and kite foilers, a skatey board that feels intuitive and easy for riders with a wake background
• Most forgiving size for larger riders or riders prioritizing easier wake starts
• Added float supports easier wake style starts and touchdown rebounds while staying short and responsive once flying
• Most stability during takeoff, touchdowns, and handling chop
